OUR PRACTICE
For over 28 years, our office has been dedicated to making sure our patients achieve and maintain a beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr. Jackson is supported by the most professional staff.
Our goal is to provide the most standard care for our patients. Our team has certified dental assistants that are board certified and have completed CPR and OSHA training. For the convenience of our patients, we accept all major credit cards and offer financing through care credit to help make your treatment more affordable.
Our office has the most state of the art technology available including digital radiology, which reduces radiation up to 95%. We also use the most up to date Dentrix Dental System. We want every aspect of your visit to be as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We hope to meet and exceed your expectations here at Jackson Dental Center.

OUR SERVICES
Routine Exams
Proper dental care is essential for all ages. Good dental health includes, regular dental check-ups and screenings. Visiting a dentist for routine exam, x-rays and cleaning, are recommended every 6 months (every 3 months, if gum disease is present).
CLEANINGS
Prophy: A prophylaxis, prophy, is a preventative cleaning reserved for those who have healthy mouths. They may have limited area of gingivitis, but no signs of periodontal disease and no heavy bleeding during probing or cleaning
Root planning and scaling
Root planning is treatment for mild to moderate generalized or advanced localized periodontal disease. This is also referred to as “deep cleaning”. Antibiotics are used during root planning procedure to aid in treating periodontal disease.
Periodontal Maintenance
After root planning is completed, periodontal cleaning/maintenance, is the treatment given to patients with periodontal disease. In most instances, periodontal cleanings are recommended every 3 months to prevent further bone loss.
Gross debridement
​
Gross debridement is a cleaning that consists of removing generalized plaque and calculus in patient with periodontal disease and gingivitis. This procedure if completed to allow the doctor to have a better access for diagnosing and probing. This procedure is also used to allow gum inflammation and infection to begin healing prior to further periodontal treatment.
Teeth Whitening
Restoration of natural tooth shade or whitening beyond natural tooth shade, depending on the definition used.
